Trust Once Broken

“Trust is like a vase . . . . once it’s broken, thought you

can fix it the vase will never be the same.”

Author Unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Trust once broken

Trust lower the barriers . . . . of resistances in a person.

People will resist moving forward in a business environment . . . . until trust has been established . . . . and they feel comfortable. Trust will build a bond with the person that you are interacting with.   Without trust the business relationship will become weak and nonproductive.

Developing a professional relationship built on trust is critical . . . . to successfully conducting business. Mutual understanding . . . . and respect are foundational steps in building a business relationship. The foundation of a successful relationship is built on the philosophy of honesty leads to rapport . . . . and rapport leads to trust . . . . and trust leads to business.

When trust is lost it becomes similar to a broken vase. The vase can be put back together . . . . but it’s never the same.

Treat your relationship like your would a rare vase that’s a one of a kind that can not be replaced.

Your business relationships are a one of a kind that’s can’t be replaced. Trust once broken . . . . the relationship will break down . . . . and the relationship will never be the same again.

Lou- work, no matter what you do, is hard enough.  But to have to add not being able to trust someone makes it that much harder.  You can't move forward because you're always looking behind you.

An excellent analogy Lou. Trust is everything in a business relationship.

Hi Lou Ludwig ,  We all know of someone whos married was marred by broken trust and the relationship was never repaired.  The same goes for employees and business relationships.

So true Lou. It is hard for that trust to be reestablished. It can take years.

Lou, your title caught my eye as leaving your other post.  This is a crucial post.  One that is short but has so much depth for those who truly understand the 'vase' can never be the same once broken.  Thank you for these fantastic words to start my day as well as keep in mind constantly.  Mark

I often admire your powerful quotes, Lou.  And, I'm often amazed at how closely they hit home at the time he publishes them.  Just the other day someone asked me the most important thing I look for in a relationship.  In this case it was for a potential marriage partner.  My answer was TRUST.  Without it, there can be little else!
