New River Air Station in Jacksonville, N C presents "Freedom Past and Present Air Show" Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th. 
The Air Station offers the air show as an opportunity
- To offer an Open House for the public
- Showcase the latest in military technology
- Entertain the public
- Recruit
The gates will open to the public at 9 AM and the show will start at Noon. There will be no admission or parking fee. Trolleys will provide transportation throughout the day from the parking area to the tarmac.
Just remember where you park!
There will be a large variety of food vendors selling food and drinks (including beer) at reasonable prices as well as arts, crafts and air show mementos.
Visitor may not bring
- Coolers
- Glass containers
- Alcoholic beverages
- Pets
- Wheeled toys/vehicles
Some things you may want to bring - Stroller for your child
- Lawn chairs and/or blankets
- Hat or sun visor
- Jacket and/or sweater
- Sunscreen
- Ear protection (it will be loud!)
Tip: Turn off your car alarm system (the vibration may set it off and drain your battery)
The air show will feature everything from supersonic jets to vintage bombers.

LOVE THE AIR SHOWS. Andrews AFB in Camp Springs, MD has their annual air show on May 17, 18.
I'm taking a Sequoia full of little ones on the 18th. It will be a blast.
