New Orcutt, CA Housing Development
If you've driven down So. Bradley Road between Woodmere Rd. and Amethyst Dr. recently, you've probably noticed heavy equipment trucks reconstructing a large field in preparation for a new housing development.
Vernon Construction is hard at work completing a County Housing Element Focused Rezoning Program and addressing housing needs of the Orcutt Community.
In the coming months, Vernon Construction is constructing 214 apartment units, a community center, pool, tot lot, and common open spaces including a 3.46 acre park with basketball court, barbecues area, climbing rock and two public multi-use trails developed in a manner to reduce greenhouse emissions, including Energy Star appliances, energy efficient lighting, shade trees, and access to public transit.
