Nick has been having quite a boring weekend with enough rain on his project that he has been forced into taking a few days off and even posting a blog.

Most of the time he is too busy doing real work to post one of these so tonight after sharing a blog he called me and asked me to share it for him.

I hope you enjoy Nicks refletions from the Michigan.

I Love Rain

This Week I am up in the great UP or Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  I am working on a few timber sales, painting trees to be removed from the woods to improve the quality of the forest.  The biggest problem with painting trees is that the weather has to cooperate.  This weekend it seems dead set on raining.

So not being able to mark the trees in the unstopping rain and being to far away to head home I find myself exploring Ironwood MI in the rain.

Yesterday I found a beautiful park to have lunch and overlook the countryside.  Here are a few pictures from Mount Zion Park.

Long Road to the top.

How lucky for you that it was raining!  Otherwise you might have missed that great view.  Wishing you a sunny week ahead.
