Cosmetology or Real Estate?
When considering career options in Maryland, it is a good time to take a close look at the educational and training requirements. Maryland requires 1,500 hours of training for a full cosmetology license. Only 350 hours of training are required for those who will limit their activities to blow drying in the popular blowout-only salons such as Drybar. By the way, Montgomery County allows you to enjoy a glass of wine while you are having a blowout and styling.
Maryland requires only 60 hours of training for a real estate license and they can be done in a classroom, online or by home study. This comparison may make some wonder if the the requirements for a real estate license are adequate.
