Today is a new begining ...I am finally transferred. So, here is the announcement. Patrick J. Lambert is now with Century 21 All Islands. Now this country boy has city power. When I was forced to transfer my license, due to my broker folding down her tent, I decided that this time I was going to do MY homework. I got on the MLS and did a CMA of the companies on this island. I found the company doing the most business and decided I deserve to work with the best ... after all I consider myself to be the best in our area. I was thrilled to learn they are not just the best on this island, but one of the best in the whole world... in the top 5. That is very impressive, I think. So, yesterday I met with my former broker and transferred my license, I AM bringing my listings with me ... most of them, some I decided not to waste my time on (can you say unmotivated seller). Tomorrow I go for my orientation with the office manager for about 3 hours. I am really looking forward to that. I have 4 sellers who have patiently been waiting for me to make this transfer and listing agreements from my new company. So, congratulations to me. I see a brighter future.
By the way - who was it that folded up down there - and how has this VOG affected sales in Ocean View, I havent seen any changes in Kona - YET - but I went camping in Manuka beach last weekend - I thought our VOG was bad???
Thank you Sally. I am really looking forward to all the fun and glory that comes with working with Century 21. Already I am involved in a listing contest ... our office against other offices. I'll find out more about that tomorrow. Motivation and motivators. It's good to be back.
Lance, Marcia Johnson from Ka'u Country Properties. She decided to move the business into her house which would not allow me to be a Realtor. I was not about to demote myself to her assistant so it was time to go. If you are familiar you know it was the best thing for me and my business.
The Vog ... well, when I dropped my son off at school today there were no children outside playing. I really don't think it is having much impact on HOVE, yet. I was up there the other day and the VOG was quite thick ... but not as thick as it was when I went to Kona.
