As we begin the 6th month of the year, the questions I hear are the same. Is the market shifting? How will the presidential election impact home prices? Is now a good time to buy? Should I wait?
Is now a good time to buy?
The answer is simple. The market is always shifting.
It's a shifty market, as Gary Keller might say. The reality is that the market shifts daily with supply vs demand and of course, the myriad of factors; interest rates, oil prices, overseas turmoils, just to name a few.
Considering the factors mentioned, a better question to ask would be; what is the trend? Is the market shifting to a buyers market or will we continue to see a seller's market in the near future? Trends are one way to see if entry into the market is viable, depending on the direction.
