In an article that I wrote after my California Association of Realtors® presentation last fall, I listed my 10 favorite productivity apps for real estate agents. While technology changes at the drop of a dime, the list is still pretty accurate (except for Sunrise Calendar, which has been swallowed up by Outlook and will not be available much longer—much to my chagrin).
Nevertheless, the app or product that I want to discuss today is one from this list: Streak. Streak is one of the best things since sliced bread. It’s a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) that helps you keep an eye on your sales pipeline. It’s always great to know how many listings are in each stage of your sales pipeline, and Streak can help you do that and easily move leads from one stage to the next. And, the best part… it’s free.

Everyone is looking for something different in a CRM, and there are a few things that Streak is not. It is not contract-to-close software. It does not have drip campaigns in it. It does not help you to generate new leads (in the way that Contactually does). And, it does not coach you or remind you that you need to contact people again (in the way the Follow Up Boss or Contactually might). What it does do is provide you with a place to keep all of your data, and quickly evaluate where you are at, while at the same time helping you to not lose a single lead. It also works hand in hand with Gmail so that you do not have to manually enter in much information or toggle between the CRM and your email.
