I was totally surprised to get a call today from one of the casting specialist for the TV Show, "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?". Naturally, I asked her how did she find me, and why she decided to give me a call about an opportunity to be in the "Specialty Show" for Military members and their families.
Stephanie was looking a someone who worked with military relocation for military members and their families, and she found me online. That's one of the benefits of being found on page one of Google. I have been blogging through Active Rain since 2011, and many of my blogs still show up on the first or second page of Google.
I also remember being interviewed by a representative from NAR® when they were looking to start the Military Relocation Professional Certification. Again, I asked her how did she find me, and the representative told me she found me online. Consistent blogging will get you there and keep you on page one of Google. There have been many other occasions where someone has called me about something that I wrote about and published online through Active Rain blogging. There are definitely benefits to being found on page one of Google.
Getting back to the call this afternoon from Stephanie with the Casting Department for "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" I want to share her email with all military members or anyone who wants an opportunity to be on the show.

Pleasure talking with you today! Again, my name is Stephanie and I am with the Casting Department at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
We are currently casting for a specialty Armed Forces week and specifically looking to reach Veterans, active military, and military family members. This is a wonderful opportunity for some of the brave men and women who have served our country as well as their family members to possibly win a lot of money.

Feel free to forward it on to whomever you think might be interested and eligible in your network too! We want to reach as many people as possible.
