I know that it has been some time since I have darkened the hallowed halls of ActiveRain and I have my reasons. Since going through and graduating from BOLD, a Keller Williams training session for real estate agents, I realized that I was not where I needed to be in my real estate career. Sure, I was busy doing what earned my livelihood, I was not where I needed to be. I had to make a decision.
I an grateful for this experience and I learned much. For one, “What I focus on expands. I have a choice to focus on what supports the livelihood of the Complete Home Inspections Team (TeamCHI) or I an focus on unproductive activities. Because my team is near and dear to my heart, I choose to focus on their livelihood. That’s whats important.
Since I have focused on the livelihood of the team, we had a wonderful month last month and are off to a great start for the month of June. I am grateful that the team, especially the marketing staff, is getting the office presentations and we are forming great relationships with our referral partners. As we all know, real estate is a relationship business - it does not matter what side of the transaction one is on.
I am grateful that I am now attracting better transactions into my life and the life of the business. We have done several high-end properties and they are a joy to inspect. It is a pleasure to see how those who earn high incomes live including their furnishings, artwork and opulent homes. Perhaps, the ‘Law of Attraction’ is telling me something . . .
