One of the most common scenarios in Real Estate that buyers have found themselves facing over the last two years is this: if I’m going to submit an offer on a home and it’s already received multiple offers how do I make my offer stand out?
In this week's post, we will share with you several tips that you can use to make your offer stand out on a home so you can buy the house of your dreams.
Tip #1 – Submit the Right Offer
When you’re interested in buying a home that’s already receiving multiple offers it doesn’t make sense to submit a lower offer than other buyers, you should submit your best offer after consulting with your Real Estate agent and finding out what the home is really worth.
Tip #2 – Be Competitive On Your Terms
Another important thing you can do to make your offer stand out from other offers on a home is to be competitive on your terms including the escrow period, deposit, and contingencies because, your offer will stand out from other buyers, especially if you’re able to close in as little as 21 to 28 days, versus 30 days like most buyers.
Tip #3 – Remove Your Contingencies Quickly
Last of all, but most important, you should be willing to remove your contingencies quickly because even though you have 21 days to remove contingencies, if you can remove your contingencies within 10 to 14 days this will also be something that will help your offer to stand out from other offers.
