Sacramento County experienced a -17.5% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in May 2016 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a 0.4% increase in homes SOLD, while Pending Sales increased 17.4%.
Interest rates remain low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Pending are up by the same number sales are down, which doesn't fare well for our inventory here in Sacramento. I'm doing my best to keep listing homes for sale, but no sooner do I plop them on the market than they sell. I keep thinking it will slow down, but it's not. Maybe when it gets to be 115 degrees . . .
