San Antonian's are very proud of the Alamo city - its history, its charm, its special qualities.
Nowhere but San Antonio is an ad slogan that was used for many years for enticing visitors.
Texans are equally proud of the Lone Star State. And Texas is truly unique - bravado aside.
And one of the more recent ad slogans for
Texas was - Don't mess with Texas!
So for your enlightenment thought I would provide a copy of our Texas Pledge.
Revised by 80th Texas Legislature - effective June 15, 2007.
Please repeat after me.
" Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, One
and indivisible."
Now you are Texanized.
And Texans never forget we are the only nation who joined the United States and we
may be divided into up to 6 states.
