Country Music Legend Alan Jackson comes back to Newnan Georgia for book signing at Scott's Bookstore

Country Music Superstar Alan Jackson returned to his hometown, Newnan Georgia, on Tuesday April 29 to sign autographs of music CD's and his wife, Denise Jackson's latest book: "It's All About Him: Finding the Love of My Life."

The line extended out the door of downtown's Scott's Book Store and down the street, as friends and fans waited up to two hours to spend a few seconds with Newnan's most famous native son.

Alan and Denise were as cordial and friendly as could be under the circumstances, as they tried to accomodate everyone's desire for autographs and photos.

However, the weather was nearly perfect, and the crowd was orderly, and everyone seemed to enjoy spending the afternoon outside with other Alan Jackson devotees.

Afterwards, the Jackson waved to the crowd as he climbed into his tour bus for a well-deserved rest. It was a fine ending to a special day in Coweta County,

You are lucky to have Alan stop by your town, wouldn't happen up north here!! We are lucky to get a concert about every other year! Being a member of his fan club has it's privileges too! A really good seat - usually within the first 5 rows!!

Well, it is his hometown, he has a lot of relatives here. He did a special invitation show at the performing arts center last night too. ( I was not invited lol) The photo in my lated blog about business picking up is actually the line waiting for autographs!

I'd be in that line if I were in your town! I have a friend who has seen Alan play in a little bar in Florida, close to where his condo is. My friend can hear him play from his balcony. The first time he heard Alan he took a stroll down to the oceanside bar and what a surprise!! Guess I hang out in the section of the U.S. - I need to go south! LOL
