Support a Great Cause and Enjoy ICE CREAM While You're at it!

ice creamWith the temps topping the 90 degree mark in Las Vegas this week I was 'licking my chops' when I saw this!  What an AWESOME way to start the summer!

Baskin Robbins is honoring America's Firefighters by selling ice cream for $.31 cents per scoop on Wednesday, April 30th between 5 and 10 pm. Grab your friends, and/or the kids and grand kids and have a cool one! This fund raiser for the firefighters is an important one for them, so let's go out and have ice cream and support a great cause. http://www.baskinrobbins.com

WOW!!  I love ice cream especially during the summer time.  I had not heard about that.  I want to check and make sure they do that in my area too so I can spread the word.  That is a good cause!!

Mary, first what a nice photo. Ice cream is something that I am very familiar with. I worked at a popular creamery called Fentons in the Bay area during my college days. We had lines even in the winter. Ice cream is a happy food in-spite of the calories.

Baskin Robbins was the first place I worked. Guess you can say that's where my sales career began! I actually knew about the .31 day but was afraid I'd go and eat everything that appealed to me.  I have no will power!

Mary, great post. I sure do miss Baskin Robbins. We don't have one here in College Station and I have to drive 2 hours to Houston to get to the nearest one!

I missed it. And how i love ice cream. Butter pecan is one of my favorites next to fresh strawberry. Focus robert. All for a worthy cause.
