Driving back from Panama City Beach after my first vacation in years. I’m not driving, I’m sitting in the passenger seat googling how to start a blog. Have you ever felt that after a vacation you need a vacation from your vacation? This trip was probably the best trip I’ve ever had and very blessed to have gone and I got to take a few friends with me. The weather in Panama City Beach was darn near perfect the entire week and we probably experienced almost everything that city has to offer. Very busy, very blessed. But, I’m so ready to get back! I’m ready to get back to work. I love my business and business is good. Am I the only one who’s felt this way?
When you love what you do for a living you’ll never have to work a day in your life. These are some words I’ve heard before but never thought I’d experience it until I’d been in Real Estate a while. It’s funny saying that now, because in my first year I didn’t realize the business involved so much work and hustle to get started. In fact, I would NOT have pursued a Real Estate career if I had known how much work it took. Eating Raman Noodles for the first 6 months, living on my own with little support, and many sleepless nights. I’m so glad I stuck to it, it’s worth it.
In Real Estate or not, you have to have a passion for what you do if you want to get here. Never having to dread another Monday morning ever! I didn’t just “have” the passion, I just had the desire. I worked for the passion. I strive to be a life long learner and I’m working to be the most knowledgeable Realtor I can be to provide the best possible service for my clients.
I wake (most mornings) amped and ready to take on the challenges of the day and to learn something new or meet someone new. It’s exciting! And I say most mornings because right now I’m having allergy issues and that just sucks, haha.
How to start a blog: Just start typing.
Until the next time.
Semper, Jeremy.
P.S. If you read this let me know, lunch on me.

Jeremy,
Welcome to Active Rain.
Unbelievable. Several times a week I pinch myself to make sure that living on Coastal Florida is real.
And like you, deep within, in that place of knowing, exits a profound gratitude for the unmerited favor that has been received. From this source of enduring happiness, the rest of life looks remarkably different.
Not so long ago, your fellow sojourners here on Active Rain looked at a screen full of letters and sighed, "Here goes nothing" and clicked that PUBLISH button. As each member clicked, Active Rain become a more dynamic, diverse energized, innovative and exciting place.
Those whose courage allowed them to share their genuine self. not their smiley face real estate side, found a very receptive audience, an audience willing to travel alongside with them on their vessel of real estate to make their world a better place, to ease the burden under which others may labor, to be the outstretched hand to the one in need. But to do this we all know we must take good care of ourselves, to keep our reservoirs filled and when available bask in the restorative influences of tides and/or mountaintops, vistas and forests and in communion with others.
Welcome to the rain.
Purpose to have some fun.
Playing in the rain can prove magical.
Umbrella optional
Best of success,
Annette

Hi Jeremy,
Sounds like you had a great vacation. And, yes, needing a vacation from the vacation is common. LOL
You're in the right place to start a blog! Yep... just start typing about whatever is on your mind and sharing your knowledge.
Blogging is a great way to let people know who you are, what you do, and how great you are at doing it. It is the least expensive, most cost effective, way to let prospects know you are the local resource in your market area.
Welcome to the world of Active Rain blogging. It is an extremely valuable platform to connect with other agents and potential clients. If you haven't already done so, may I recommend you check out the "Resources" section and click on "Getting Started"?

You'll be buying a lot of lunches it appears! I took a "mini-vacation" this weekend and it was much needed. A change of scenery will do the body (and mind) good, and nothing compares to the beach! So, welcome to AR. I'll keep my eyes on you to see what other tidbits you have to share with us!

Thank you Pat. I would buy every one of y'alls lunches if you were here in Northwest Arkansas. :)
I think I'll change that statement to "we'll go have lunch here on me". haha
Thanks again!
