We just closed on a house for $1,300,000. We are listing agents and refer buyers to our new buyer agent. But right before we hired Doug to be our buyers' agent, we received a call from a buyer who was looking for an aeronautical community.

He just told us today that he had called several agents but that not one of them called him back, well, no one except for us! You snooze, you lose. He found us on Active Rain when he did his search for aeronautical communities ( where of course our Active Rain post shows up on page 1 in #3 spot, with only the community website above our post!) and then went to our website.

Nestor knew exactly what he was looking for because he keeps on top of the market in Palm Beach County. We closed on this house today, all cash for a very good price. The seller and buyer are both happy. Now the house we sold is in and of itself a great story which I will be post about next week! You will not want to miss it!

The house our buyer bought is right on the beautiful turf taxiway. He flew in this morning right before closing from Tampa Florida. Nestor picked him up at the house out on the taxiway and drove him to the closing. How fun is that! You just fly in, sign your closing papers and fly back in time for dinner! No traffic to deal with and no hassles on the road!

Bob- Nope, that was just Nestor on that deal. This deal went into contract the same week we were meeting with Doug to interview him. So he missed this one, but he has a lot of buyers he is working with right now that we got from our AR blog and our website.

Neal- The aeronautical post I wrote was way back in 2007! And it still shows up on the first page of Google searches. When I first posted it the post was even above the Aero club's own website and the aviation direction website but I sank a couple of spots. That means no one else is blogging about this area! Good for us! I don't mind, let them all never discover blogging and we will keep getting the calls:) ! Time to write another post about that community! He, he, ...

Lenn- Well, it was a tumulteous 21 days before closing. But it all worked out in the end. That part of the story we can not share. But the story of the house is awesome! Katerina - sounds like it was not only financially profitable, but fun as well. While St Petersburg - being an older city and surrounded on 3 sides by water - doesn't have an aeronautical community (though it has lots of nautical communities), we can be a great destination for fliers, since we have an airport right in downtown St Petersburg, Albert F. Whitted airport, and you can walk from your hanger to your waterview condo. John Galbraith chose St Petersburg for The Templeton Funds because he wanted to fly in and walk to both his home and his office, both of which were in Bayfront Tower.
