BEEF TIPS OVER RICE

This is a easy weekday meal-

2 lbs beef tips, cubed

1 (10 oz) can beef consomme

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 clove garlic

1/4 tsp. onion salt

2 Tbsp. constrach

1/4 cup water

4 cups. hot cooked rice

Brown meat on all sides in oil. Stir in consomme, soy sauce, garlic and onion salt. Heat to boiling, Reduce and simmer until meat is tender. Serve over rice.

Patty, this is a good one. I also add a can of cream of mushroom soup to add an extra kick. Sometimes I wonder if we shared the same teacher.

I like Jacqueline's idea with the mushroom soup. I add sweet bell peppers and sliced onions to my version of this dish.
