It's 7:30 AM. April 30. Erin's birthday (she's two today, and very cute).
Nicole and Erin are upstairs still sleeping. They both need it. We have had a whirlwind last few days.
I guess our lives are always a whirlwind.
We are going to the zoo for Erin's birthday. She should be getting old enough to enjoy it this year. Last year she was a little small.
Anyway, catching up with some odds and ends while they sleep.
Lots of soul searching the last few days.
Do I need to do things differently?
Short sales? Foreclosures? Working with banks.
Maybe I should drive one of those foreclosure bus tours.
I have Leonard Thomas questioning my strategy. Yes Leonard, I do have one.
Leonard is a very smart guy. And a great writer (although his posts are few and far between). If you haven't checked out his posts, I would recommend you do. Subscribe, even. I have.
Leonard's thoughts are highly professional (he always wears a suit) and very aggressive (fsbos, expireds, etc).
I do things differently.
I am also very professional. When working, you will usually see me clad in RE/MAX garb.
I am trying to win over the real estate world with kindness. Honesty. Integrity. Hard work. Fairness.
This is the way I would want to be treated.
My style is certainly not for everyone.
Some may be looking for an ass kicker. I don't want to be an ass kicker. I did that before in my financial sales career. I did not like myself.
So I do things differently.
If you want your home marketed by an intelligent professional that cares about you, then I am your man.
If you are thinking about buying a home and don't want to be SOLD by your agent, then I am your man.
If you want a fire breather, a guy that eats raw steak for breakfast, and drinks shots of whiskey out of a dirty glass, then my style may not be for you.
That's OK.
There is plenty of business to go around.

Good morning Ken- I agree with your strategy. You may want to check out Danielle Kennedy's website, I really like hers.
