Kiazen! In previous posts Kaizen! Part II and Kaizen! I provided insights about the Japanese philosophy of "continuing improvement of working principles." Today's post further illustrates how the application and development of lifelong learning gain competitive advantage through wisely and effectively measuring improvement of working principles and defining results.
The National Association of REALTORS® new Official Certification for Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA is now available in Texas. The eight hour CE was offered in my area on Thursday, 6/23/2016. I enrolled for the PSA Certification and found it to be extremely beneficial because it expands on Fannie Mae Guidance on choosing comparables and acknowledges roadblocks agents often experience with Lender Appraisals. Staying up-to-date on working with the Appraiser and determining adjustments is more than beneficial. It's a necessity! There were exercises that put class participants to the challenge and a test. Two additional webinars are required. After the results are released and know I passed, I will be proud to have earned this designation. For now, it has boosted my confidence and resulted in a listing yesterday.
The course taught me new and specific ways in which to analyze the data improving CMA effectiveness and fine-tuning existing old ones. Helping clients through the process of assessing the data to understand pricing strategies and how getting the home priced right the first time won the listing this time and I I am even more committed to helping future clients.
Kiazen isn't just an idea, it's a promise you give to yourself and a gift to those you serve in business.
