Awww... the priceless surprises that inevitably come with any adventure.
This particular picture was taken on a day trip from Las Vegas toward Death Valley. It was very near the Nevada / California border. We were in search of desert wildflowers.
We did find lots of wild flowers in the desert but the find of the day was this snake crossing warning sign. It was out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but miles and miles of miles and miles all around us and ....Z O O M... there is a snake crossing sign. We HAD to go back and take a picture.
