Q: How many years have you been in Real Estate?

A: 9 years

Q: What is the average home price in West Covina, CA?

A: It depends on what type of home you want and need. The average Town Home ranges from the High $300's to the low 400's. You could acquire a single family homes can start in the mid 400's and up.

Q: Are there any new developments or trends in West Covina?

A: Luxury Condos are the current trend for West Covina. West Covina's boarders are touching the neighboring communities so we do not have much room for any new single family home developments or communities.

Q: Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?

A: You never have the same day twice. Even if you are repeating an activity no two escrows are the same, no two days of door knocking are the same.
I also enjoy getting to know the clients interests, life style, and needs in a home and then matching these needs and desires with the features of a home that plays benefits into their needs. Finding a perfect home for that individual's needs always feels great.
My favorite day in my job is the day I hand over the keys to my client's new home.

Q:What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?

A: I enjoy challenges, they keep me sharp, focused and lets me know that I'm on top of my game.
The most challenging aspect I face is dealing with other agents who are not professional, experienced, or both.
Part-time agents tend to be lazy agents, and that just means we have to be 100% on top of our game to make sure that the other agent doesn't drop the ball for the sake of our clients.
You can not let your ego play a role in this industry, we willingly buckle down and carry twice the load if it means getting our client into their dream home.

Q: Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your career.

A: Some of the most memorable moments in my career come when door knocking. Whether it's when I'm being chased by a loose dog, or when an elderly man answers the door naked. Being out in the community knocking on doors gives me the best stories and the best understanding of what is actually going on in each particular neighborhood.

Q: What is your best characteristic?

A: Honesty. Too many agents deceptively encourage their clients to make decisions that make them the most money. I encourage the best fiduciary decision for my clients, period. Often times that means leading them towards the deals where I'm make the least.
However, this honesty is what drives my past clients back to me when they need to move, and probably explains why over 80% of my team's business comes from referrals from our past clients.

Q: Who or what inspires you the most?

A: Jesus, My Father, Anthony Robbins, and Tom Ferry professionally speaking and in that order too.

Q: What is the best advice you ever received?

A: I would have to say that it is "Seek first to understand".

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A: Oahu, Hawaii. I was stationed their while in the Army, and I would love to go back there. If not to move at least for a sabbatical.
