Part Psychic, Part Translator, Part Decorator...Behold the House Whisperer!

By
Home Stager with Sharon Tara Transformations

There is a language that few speak and most don't even know about.  Those of us who speak this language are more than willing to translate and share what we learn with those who don't.

Most realtors know of this language, but not all understand it.

Much like the ghost whisperer and the horse whisperer, we who understand it are not always taken seriously.

The information we pass on is invaluable and many have prospered from it.

However, so many more could be helped if they would only believe.

We are the house whisperers

We step into a house and hear every message it is sending out...

"My roof leaks"

"Pets have abused me"

"I have inadequate storage space

  "My plumbing is obsolete"

What makes the language of "house" so perplexing is the fact that although sellers do not hear it, buyers do.

Most sellers don't realize that their house is talking, but the house is talking up a storm to potential buyers.

Houses not only talk, what makes them dangerous is that they often mislead and misrepresent.   Without guidance from a qualified house whisperer they could send a buyer away with a very poor impression.

If you are a realtor and you are not hearing what your listings are saying to potential buyers, or you know what they are saying but don't know how to change their message,  you may want to find yourself a house whisperer.

You will be amazed at our ability and willingness to translate and communicate in the language of house.

Bill   Thanks for commenting.  It's amazing all the roles that agents have to play.  Most people just don't realize!

Sharon,

Your title explains it all!  Isn't this so true of us stagers, we really need to be so intune with each house.  It's as if we feel the vibes of the house.  It is a gift that not just any one has.  This is why we do what we do and enjoy our pshycic connection with each project.

Great correlation, maybe that's should be our new names, really throw the public off.  Funny thing is we might get more business than we want.

Susan  Always nice to hear from a believer!

Cindy   I used this title at a networking meeting and it got a great response.  I'm not worried about "too much business" at this point in my career!  I'm looking forward to that day.

I am proud to be a "house whisperer". I have never thought of it in those terms but it sure makes sense!
