I’m happy to share some exciting news with clients about our new RE/MAX team and its sales rankings on the Ottawa Real Estate market.
In May, I first shared with clients the good news that my team at Nancy Benson and Associates, which had been part of Keller Williams Ottawa Realty, is now officially part of RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Group. This was because Keller Williams Ottawa, with two offices and nearly 300 agents, decided to convert their Ottawa offices to the RE/MAX brand.
RE/MAX has been the leading real estate organization in Canada for more than 20 years, and the network is consistently ranked Number One in more than 150 markets across Canada.
The latest sales and listings numbers from the Ottawa market, looking at the first four months of 2016, help show why this was such a great development for my clients.
Looking at the top 10 Ottawa agencies for sales and listings between Jan. 1 and April 30, 2016, RE/MAX is in the Number One spot, and by a large margin.
Over that four-month period in Ottawa, RE/MAX realtors sold 1,614 properties and listed 1,475 in the Ottawa area, representing a total of 3,089 properties in that time. That was well above the second-ranked company, which had 2,687, and far above the third-ranked company, with 608 properties.
These kinds of numbers give my clients an idea of the impressive network that my team is now a part of.
With the addition of the two Keller Williams offices in Ottawa, RE/MAX Hallmark Realty now has 12 offices, including nine throughout much-desired Toronto locations and one in Muskoka, the area that’s a popular destination for cottage owners.
RE/MAX Hallmark Realty will now have more than 1,000 agents, and with the international scale and scope of the RE/MAX network, it reaches across more than 105,000 agents and nearly 7,000 offices in 100 countries and six continents.
My clients have always praised the extensive and sophisticated marketing that we have offered at Nancy Benson and Associates, and this move to RE/MAX has raised the bar even higher.
For example, through the international RE/MAX network, we can post listings in many countries and in more than 30 languages.
This move has been exciting for all of us at my team, and we look forward to continuing to serve you under the RE/MAX brand.
