I'm in sort of a unique situation. We are adopting our second set of 2 foster children which measn next month we will have adopted 4 children through the foster care system.
Having 4 kids means needing more space so we went ahead and bought a new home in Tabernacle NJ. Since we qualified without a contingency we went for it ! ( I know I know as a Realtor - you'd think I'd know better )
Now the stat hs come along and told us there is a program called HOPP (home ownership for permanency placement ) that will allow us to qualify a 3% - 30 yr mortgage- thereis hwoever a catch. We have to sell our current property first in order to qualify! We had planned on selling anyway but didnt think we'd have to do it in 51 days!
We live in Mount Holly , NJ and have a cute 4 bedroom,2 bath home that is perfect for the young military family ( both neighbors hail from McGuire AFB ) . We currently have it listed for $199,900 but are willing to negotiate for anyone who may be inetrested and can close quickly.
