The first Summer Program being offered at Mercy High School is called the Higher Achievement Program (HAP). HAP will start July 11th and run through Jully 22nd from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. HAP is designed to "assists and prepares students entering Grades 7 and 8 for high school, reinforcing Reading, Language and Math skills needed for the HSPT (High School Placement Test)." HAP also strives to give these young girls a feel for what high school will be like.
The next two programs begin July 18th and run through July 22nd. One program is a Soccer Clinic for girls 5th - 9th grade, and will be held between 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This camp will provide the attendees with a fun and competitive environment for girls of all levels of ability. "Participants will be involved in team play, skill development, games, and tournaments."
The second program held July 18th through July 22nd, will be a Theatre Arts Program for girls 6th to 9th grade. The Theatre Arts Program will provide attendees with "a creative and interactive theatrical experience." The focus the Theatre Arts Program will be on Musical Theater, and will include a trip to the Goodspeed Opera House.
The final Summer Programs At Mercy High School In Middletown, CT will be a Basketball Clinic for girls 5th to 9th grade, and will run from July 25th through July 29th from 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m. Mercy High School is known for having excellent basketball teams every year, so this program will take attendees to another level of their game.
