8th Annual GA 400 Hospitality Hwy Bike Ride

The 8th Annual GA 400 Hospitality Hwy Bike Ride is an epic ride where you ride your bike on the forbidden Hwy GA 400. They close all lanes so you can ride safely and get the thrill of a lifetime. Imagine as you soar down the entrance ramp at Holcomb Bridge and you get the greatest feeling of freedom as you take to the Hwy. Or it might be reminiscent of the Walking Dead. The 8th Annual GA 400 Hospitality Hwy Bike Ride will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Join 2,000 other riders as you embark on a memorable ride of 9, 27, 45, 60, or 100 miles throughout the best roads in North Georgia filled with horse farms and small country roads. The ride stages at Sky Zone and starts at exit 7 of Georgia Route 400, and will wind through Sandy Springs, Roswell, Milton, Johns Creek, Alpharetta, and other scenic areas of North Fulton. There is a rest stop every 15 miles and great entertainment at the end along with a great meal. You can even brag that you conquered the Three Sisters and the Mother-in-law! Tell your friends and enjoy the day as you start with a roll on GA 400.

The 100 mile ride is over 5,500 feet of climbing (1000 less than 2015) short steep hills that build your base strength! Perfect for training for that fall triathlon, or that late season race, or maybe you just want to burn over 8,400 calories! The 60 mile ride also ascends 3,900 feet and will climb the Three Sisters like the 100-milers do. The Three Sisters are three short climbs near the end of the ride in Roswell. You will have cheering fans as you pedal squares up the Big Sister in Mountain Park and Middle Sister as you pound your way through Wildwood Springs. Finally, you will roll up the Little Sister in Waverly Hall. Look for the local kids to have lemonade stands as an excuse to stop or use the cheers of neighbors to help you up the hill!

Registration for all riders will open at 5:30 A.M. Anyone who arrives after 6:30 A.M. may not be allowed on Hwy GA 400. Traffic is expected and arriving at 6Am or earlier is recommended. Line up at 6:45AM and be ready to roll once GA400 is closed to autos.

There is a light breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as music for your entertainment.
