I now work if it makes me happy and I find it satisfying. Getting to a point in my life where this is possible is a gift I was able to give myself because I planned for it. Now with time and focus I like to plan trips, places to go and activities that really interest me. When I was actively listing and selling real estate, I made it a point to plan at least one trip a year. In February I was in Cuba. Between my referral income, my training gigs and my seasonal work I am now thinking about and planning for my next trip. I have wanted to go to Kenya since experiencing South Africa a few years ago.
Being on a Safari is magical. The proximity to majestic animals in their natural environment is nothing short of an extraordinary experience and I am ready for more of it. This trip will be different though because I will be staying in the parks in luxury camps where the animals live. This sort of travel is unusual and I am so ready to be with nature and with the animals. It should be neat to watch wildlife graze, sleep, and gather both during the day and then at night from the privacy of my own tent.
So I planned to go and on Friday I booked my trip. I still will need to get a Visa and finalize my flights but......Kenya, here I come. I now work to live and life is good.
