How happy I was to find a group for fellow christians! I am truly blessed and can't wait to read about others who have found a way to spread the good news in our everyday business connections. Just simply by setting our eyes on Jesus and treating others as we ourselves want to be treated. I am fortunate to have my son Mike join me in the business in late December of last year, he is also a devout Christian. Before joining me Mike had a job that he had been on for 15 years and benefits but no possibilty of growth. He and I prayed about the possibility of him joining me since I had complained many times that there just was too much work and not enough of me to go around. He told me that he felt that God had given him the ok to get his real estate license and join me. ( Mike has a wife and 3 children) He and I both are thrilled! Well as can be expected the devil stepped in and has challenged us from day one. The sales came to an almost immediate stop anything that looked like a sale has fallen through, well you all know how our faith is challenged by the enemy. This post is not to complain about our trials instead it is to proclaim that Jesus is Lord and God has promised to take care of those who love Him and we do, so no matter what it looks like my son and I are standing on faith that this too shall pass and we will not compromise our values in order to make money. I have lost out on many sales because I have put others best interests above my own agenda. This is not patting myself on the back, because I am not anything other than a sinful human myself any good I do is only through Jesus who lives in me. I will keep you posted and as God begins to bless our faith i will share this with you to encourage and lift up anyone who may be experiencing trials of their own that they may be encouraged and know that god id still in control and will show up just in time. I also want to add to this that I do tithe and he has told us that the first 10% of our money belongs to Him and that if we obey he will will pour us out a blessing, pressed down,& running over. It all belongs to Him and he can give it to whomever he chooses so giving Him 10% of what he has entrusted to me is a privilege not a sacrifice.
