Well... here it is, the eve of May 1st and we are at 32 degrees with the ground covered in snow. I have been putting off pulling out my camera because of this horrendous winter/spring we have had.  © 2009 Jeff Fullmer

I am ready for the shutterbug to bite, I hope the lingering cold/snow does not chase it away. So I pulled out the camera to see what would happened.

I have photography in my blood but have never really explored it.

Oh, daffodils should not be covered in frost!

That first picture is really good.  I love photography too, but never have had time to really explore it like I want.  Someday when the kids are older maybe....

Oh Brenda... if only we were so lucky to just get frost. The daffodils were just starting to get hit with a 3" snow fall we ended up getting last night.

Jeff:

Beautiful photos. I love daffodils. When I lived in Kalispell in 1996 we got 2 1/2 FEET on June 10th! It really damaged a lot of trees. I hope that will not be the case for you in Idaho this spring. Thanks for the comments regarding the group posting limits. The post that I was referring to was posted on 4/7/08 and had been posted to over 20 groups.  As always, I appreciate your input.

Terri, thanks. I have been hearing that for the past month now with little hope!

Looks like sunshine in the forecast and highs in the 50's. One more night with freezing temperatures forecasted. Maybe it will stay??? My son planted his garden. That is always risky until after Memorial Day.

Julie, my assumption is that spring is here finally! Interesting year for gardens! Glad for the sunny day and NO WIND!

Julie, then we got a lot of rain last night!

The rain sure beats the snow and cold we have been experiencing though.

The snow is beautiful in these pictures, even if we didn't like it.

Jeff, being from Georgia makes it  rare to see snow, I think the pictures are exciting! snap away of your region. Customers here in Georgia just might want to move to a different climate
