Last night I got invited to the San Antonio NAHREP Chapter's Playa on the Patio. So I attended and glad I did.
Terrific event and so much fun! And the group was so welcoming. But the real point of this current blog is to praise the NAHREP 10 - The Hispanic Wealth Project. Simple, sharp ideas to live by.
The 10 points of the NAHREP wealth project (relayed and condensed by me) are -
1. Work to have a mature understanding of wealth and property.
2. Be in the top 10% of the your profession.
3. Live below your means and be ready for the next recession.
4. Minimize your debt.
5. Invest in real estate and stocks. (They suggest 20%.)
6. Know your net wealth including the value of your business.
7. Be Politically savvy.
8. Be Physically fit. (I need to work on this one.)
9. Be Generous to those less fortunate.
10. Be involved and active with your family.
Love these. And while I knew all of them it is nice to have them succintly and simpled stated.
