When you are out physically looking at houses, you can get a first hand idea of what the home at neighborhood and is like. Once you are there, it may look totally different than how the home shows in the pictures. Pictures sometimes provide a over filtered image that is too good so you are tempted to come over and take a look. Sellers must realize their home just not be only show great online, which is where buyers do their first showing before their agent or the listing agent to take a look. However, it's just not good enough to look online. The house must show well when buyers come. 99.9% of buyers come physically to inspect any home purchase in person. When they are they, they will get a unfilted view of how you live. They will open doors, closets, see your bathrooms, smell what you smell and even look to see what's in your refrigerator or pantry. That impression will be the deciding factor whether they want to buy your home or not. However, buyers are not buying your 'stuff', they are purchasing your space.
As a top a real estate in the Danbury area, my job is not just to market and negotiate for you,and make to represent your interests through the whole closing closing. I am also very good and experienced it assisting clients preparing their home for the photographer and showing. For example, I currently have a property listed which the owner does not live around the area and I personally spent about 4 hours cleaning and staging the property so it can be presented much better and organized. If I had not, the owner would be getting considerably less money for the property and would languish on the market.
