So, I started at Century 21 All Islands today. It sure feels good. After being in the woods for a few years I realized I forgot what it was like to be part of the corporate world. Century 21 isn't just a company, it's an enterprise. They didn't get that way easily, I am sure. So, now I have so many forms to fill out. Before all I used was a listing agreement and the basic contracts and disclosures ... escrow handled the rest if needed. Now, I have so many forms to fill out for each lising. So, the listings that I brought with me all basically have to be resigned ... that sucks. Not that it's bad, but it gives people an out after I have done my job and by switching companies am opening the door for more prospects to their home. I was just hoping on the "great news, I am with a better company and can now service you better" letter ... simple. Nope, more paperwork, more questions. It's not that I am afraid of questions or paperwork ... I have just been without that for so long I got used to the simplicity of things. Having said all that I am happy to have the forms, happy to have the corporate world, happy to be back in a professional environment. Now, I have to put in my new disk of forms and get to work. It's going to be a long night.

Oh my, sounds like a lot of extra work. Hope you made the change for a really good reason. All the best.

I guess I have the best of both worlds.  Small company with the Century 21 franchise.

Randy, you don't have to fill out all those forms in addition to the listing agreement? Hmm?  thought it would be a franchise thing. I worked on forms for 3 hours last night and am back at it this morning. I still have so much to do.
