TO PRUDENTIAL OR NOT TO PRUDENTIAL? THAT IS THE QUESTION?

I have always wanted to have more training available to me, and that is why I began looking this week to other

brokerages in my neighborhood. After speaking to many local brokerages, Prudential seemed to offer the most

bang for my buck! Some of the amenities they offer to their agents are: daily live training, free website, free

open house signs, free for sale listing signs, in house leads generated from national website, and relocation

leads. The particular office I will be more than likely signing on also has a radio segment which offers help to

sellers on the verge of losing their home. I love everything they have to offer and it seems like this is going to

be my new home! What do you think should I make the move to work for Prudential or are other franchises

more recomendable?

I don't know....My brokerage was acquired by Prudential just TODAY.....

So stay tuned.  But the individual franchise is very important.

Benny, it sounds like you alREady have both feet in the water. Enjoy the swim. No matter what anyone says, if you REspect a company and are in tune with philosophies you should do well. Do you know how many agents are with that particular location? Do they have a designated, experienced Trainer? Just wondering. I did it the hard way. Personally paying for training. For some REason I wanted to maintain as much objectivity as possible and spend my time learning about REal Estate rather than learning one particular company's way... However, I might be doing better right now if I were with a major franchise.

Ruthmarie, congratulations!

I work for an independent boutique firm...and have also worked for big brands. My opinion is that is comes down to the quality of the broker and trainer....and the split.

A lot depends on the individual office and broker. It is not really the name of the company that matters the most. Go where you are comfortable.
