Cure From AR Insomnia. Anybody?

By

2:30 AM.

On the Blog Page there is a list of the most active cities. 4 out of 10 are in Florida. Guys, at 2:30 in Florida I have trouble making sure that it is 40%, and I have no clue how guys can be still writing and posting in the middle of the night.

Do y'all have a day off tomorrow?

Only one from California, and this is their prime time. Same from Seatle, WA.

Atlanta, GA is also crazy. TX is, I think still an hour earlier, but time to go to sleep, all right.

What is that, AR insomnia? Anybody has the cure?

I say that time spent on AR is better than time spent watching Nick-at-Nite! :)

Hi Jon,

It's way, way past your bedtime.  Go to bed!  San Diego, California here, and still up.

Eric - Yeah, really. It is too late even to listen to some music. These are minuses of living in a condo.

But I would love to listen to Rach 3 now. Phenomenal concerto. I listened to the recording with Horowitz, and was overwhelmed. So beautiful. We listened to this concerto live when a Russian Symphony Orchestra was here a month ago, and, though technically it seemed (I am far from being a guru) to be no problem, the piano sounded very dry and unemotional. The program was praising the pianist (Maxim, but I do not remember the last name) and calling him another Horowitz, so I got on the Internet and found Horowitz playing concerto #3, and wow, what a beautiful music. Interesting, Horowitz first played it at his graduation party, when he was 16.

Showed it to my grandson, who just turned 16, asked if he would like to play at least the first part, he listened to the concerto and then said "no". He said the guy should have 20 fingers to play it. How funny, and how right.

Good night

Bill -  Can't compete with you. I give up. You there in California always win because you have more time, as  mornings do not count anyway.

Mantovani, the Ray Coniff Singers on the record player, or the Carlton Sheets Infomercial in the background on the television always works better than Sominex. Try it, you'll like it. Also experiment with Al Hirt, the Three Suns, Liberace and Glenn Gould playing Bach's Goldberg Variations, if you can find their recordings. Not only will you sleep great and feel refreshed when you rise, but you'll want take the garbage out for your wife before you leave for the office. :-)

David - Great list, will try it out. Thanks

You, of course, could suggest a more radical sure: just turn off the computer. And I know about it, but it s sooooooooooooooooooooo addictive.

Joey - What is it, a movie? I will. But I am off to bed after now.11 hours 25 minutes behind the wheel and 509 miles to show several properties in South Florida. I tried to write about it, but keep falling asleep, so I will finish it tomorrow.
