Serendipity Sunday

By
Real Estate Agent with Compass CA DRE# 01215160

Many times a week I walk past this this light, one of several along the wall at the garage entrance (a garage for 17 cars I'm told) of one of Pacific Heights mansions.

It makes me think about a little book called 14,000 Things to Be Happy About that was in my B&B room last week.

This light makes me happy, and would be one of my 14,000.

That light fixture would make me smile too. It's nice to admire beauty where you find it.

I like the way you think, Chris Ann Cleland It's easy to find beauty if we simply are open to it.

The light is impressive, Noah Seidenberg - so is the thought of a 17-car garage in an area where two parking spaces is rare!

Hi Jeff Dowler CRS - you're absolutely right; beauty can be found if we open ourselves to it.

Hi Kathleen Daniels - and that house is occupied by a caretaker I believe, with the garage mostly empty. Oh well....

Lou Ludwig - much of San Francisco is a walker's paradise if you don't mind a little hill or two!

Hi Tammy Lankford, I'm glad you enjoyed the photo of the lamp sconce. To my mind it captured some of the grandeur of the Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Oh yes, this house definitely has an interesting history  Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com - this lamp is on the garage on Jackson Street of the Spreckles Mansion which faces Washington St. The most recent owner of this home is the author, Danielle Steele. Perhaps that's a future blog post!

Hi Patricia Kennedy - I hope you have a large front porch!! Two of these are mounted near garage doors on a wall I'd guess is 20' high!

Hi Donna Foerster - you would be the perfect person to appreciate that little book, 14,000 Things to Be Happy About.  Wishing you a great day!
