I'm A Pussy Cat REALTOR

Recently I had an associate tell me that she was moving out of town and could not take her cat.  Celli is the cats name. Celli is a really cool cat.  My friend had gotten her from the pound and Celli was initially a owner surrender who belonged to an older lady who could no longer take care of her.  Celli was just laid back and one of the nicest cats you could meet.  She is a beautiful tabby mix.  My friend said she would have to give her to the pound if she could not find her a place.

I made her promise not to take Celli to the pound.  I told her I would find Celli a place to live.  I so wanted to take Celli home, however I have two dogs and one cat and a husband who does not want any more pets.

So I was on the search for a home for Celli.  It did not take long.  I found a new home for Celli.  A current client of mine has adopted Celli and Celli loves her new home.  It was not long before she became very comfortable.  Celli has not compensated me for finding her new home (I did not expect it) however I know she is very appreciative.

Nannette, I thought you were going to tell me your client thought you were too much of a pussycat?  LOL.  My assistant, Maria, and I help find homes for pets in these situations.  My assistant even has one little dog that our client's husband was not so happy about being brought home years ago!!  I just worry about all the pets being displaced or abandoned out there.  Good for you!!

Audrey you know from reading my blogs I am not really a pussy cat when it comes to being a REALTOR.  LOL.  Yes, it was a little play on words.

Nannette, you are worth every bit of your finders fee, lol.  Work is just about real estate.  Sometimes it's about life!!

Nanette, Good post. Glad that you found the cat a good home. Most pound animals don't get adopted.

Thanks for sharing. That is a good story. That cat looks right at home. My cat sleeps in my dogs bed, weirdo's!

Ray you know it!  It is not always about real estate, it is about helping people when we can.

Mike I could not have felt comfortable with Celli going to the pound again.  She had already been surrendered once and I just did not want that to happen again.  I check on her from time to time.  I think she remembers me.

Andy That does sound weird.  I guess the cat thinks that it is HEAD HONCHO! LOL!

Nannette, She looks so sweet. That is great that you found Celli a home. My husband said no more cats but then our daughter moved to New York City and I ended up with her cats.  Well one of them was from one of her roomates, who ended up pregnant (she got the baby we got her cat) so he is totally ours.  Our daughter will probably take the other one back someday.  We are the fourth home for Calvin but he is totally home now.  WE love him.

Celli is really sweet.  I really like that cat.  She thinks she is the queen of the house.
