Keurig MINI Plus B31 Coffee Maker Stopped Working
One of the things I enjoy doing is "tinkering" with electronics to see how it works. If it does not work I love to try to figure out how to make it work. My grand uncle owned Lum's Business Equipment in Hawai'i which may explain why I enjoy it as much as I do. I find it to be very relaxing.
One of my latest projects was a Keurig MINI Plus B31 Coffee Maker that I found at Salvation Army for $25. I love the challenge so when I brought it home I started testing it.
At first the water would not flow so I figured that something was clogging the flow.
Solution? Carefully clear out the coffee grinds surrounding the very-sharp needle that punctures KCups. I used bread twist ties to clear the way. Be careful with the very-sharp needle.
I use a Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter to cut down on waste. You can find a genuine one at the Keurig website for $14.99 or at EBay for $5.95 which includes shipping. Note that there is an older version and one for the new Keurig 2.0 coffee machines.
Problem solved.
I am not sure what my next project will be but I look forward to the challenge!
