What a great week of Revival at World Harvest Church in Ball Ground

If it seems like we were missing in action, It is because we have been. We have been busy during the day with home inspections and Sunday night started revival at World Harvest Church in Ball Ground. With everything that went on we have had very little time to post. On Monday night, Bishop Lance Johnson preached on a topic called false dependencies. This really got me to th World Harvest Church message inking about, what are we dependent on? Are we dependent on ourselves, our economy and our abilities to help us make it in life, or are we dependent on the one that created us to begin with. I have to laugh when I think about all the times that I tried to do things on my own, in my own ability and completely messed it up. And yet life just seems to run so much smoother when I surrender things over to the Lord and let HIM guide the way.

Bishop also talked about using alcohol, prescription drugs and drugs to cope with life in general, and how people tend to use those things as their false dependencies. In other words, they think it'll make things better. Right now, if you look across this nation, you constantly hear about the meth epidemic, and how it is destroying the lives of families. But I have had the privilege of seeing several completely delivered from this drug that they say, you can never get away from and that you will always want it, by the power of Jesus! Almost every family in America has been affected in some way or another by addictions and I know that there is an answer and help, and as Christians, we can help.

I just knew the smile on your faces had to be from the One Most High. I also struggle with letting God direct my paths and have found some devotions that come in my email every morning to help me stay focused on what God has for me each minute of every day. Donna, Thank you for the compliment, when you have a son who is airlifted after a four wheeler accident and God heals him except for a torn live and then his recovery only takes 2 weeks instead of 8 you can help but praise Him. Plus he's always faithful, and so many prayers have been answered. Last night at Revival 12 people accepted Jesus as their savior. It was incredible.

I just heard an update tonight from Revival, I don't know how many ended up at the alter, but in the last 2 weeks we've had 17 people come to be baptized. World Harvest Church in Calhoun will start revival Sunday.
