There are so many reasons to buy a home on a lake and this is just one of them that creates a sense of total relaxation, which is partly why people are drawn to Fishhawk Lake.

I took this while on my pontoon on a weekday in July and I happened to be the only one on Fishhawk Lake as the sun was calling it a day. 

It was thoroughly pleasurable and the dogs were taking it all in with a joy that only dogs know and we can all learn from, having a slight breeze that whisks interesting smells by your nose and being totally in the present.  

This is a small bit of what this lake has to offer anyone who owns their "slice of paradise" at or on Fishhawk Lake. 

Pontoons, paddleboats, kayaks, canoes, driftboats, paddleboards, rowboats, it all works here for boating on Fishhawk Lake so long as it is human or electric powered.

Keeps things quiet, keeps our waters pristine and it keeps you young by creating memories on this very unique lake in the coastal range of Oregon!

Hi Gayle, Even though I have never lived on a lake, my dad took me fishing and canoeing when I was young.  Living on a Lake would be magic to wake up to the sounds of nature as the sun rises and sets with the reflecting diamonds across the water, even when the moon takes over on the night shift.

Oh, Sharon Lee you would be in hog heaven! Light breeze, with just the right amount of sunshine. The kids are SOOOO happy--AND our "girls", Della and Pearl, our mule and horse. landed in heaven, too.

It was so easy to describe this life through Kasa and Takoda's eyes, Ron and Alexandra Seigel and I had to go back and read what I wrote as a result of  your comment, just to live it again.

I just love ya, Dick Greenberg because you get it. That whole life thing the way it's supposed to be lived. I actually took a nap this afternoon and the dogs were on the bed with me, keeping me company.
