Right on target - and - re-blog!
After reading a featured post titled “The Loneliness of Your Second Post-The Newbie’s Trough of Sorrow,” and I thought I’d share my thoughts on this topic. As the author of that post stated, the welcoming committee is a happy crowd and the love is spread. The question is “will you still love me in the morning?”
The answer is easy enough to understand. Of course, I can only relay the answer as I see it. Those who welcome first time bloggers do it lovingly, but life must continue to move onward and upward the next day. This includes the tasks for the newbies.
Every newbie should be exercising his/her efforts to become known and remembered by existing members. The task is an easy one, and it’s the essence of working on a social media site. Be Social. Learn to participate. Make an effort to introduce yourself, and share your personality with everyone.
You’ll become known and the judgments will begin. Some will love you; some will dislike you; others will not judge; and some will ignore you completely. Some of the common tasks that one should be doing every day are commenting; posting additional blog posts; using the Q&A section by asking questions and leaving comments; and participating in contests.

Feeling abandoned is a state of mind that is not typical on a Social Media Site. Be social, and you’ll clearly understand why ActiveRain has the reputation that you’re reading about in so many posts here every day.
My final thought for today ….. Be Social and you’ll never be lonely!!
