Have you taken the time today to thank someone? It is so easy to take people for granted, don't you think?
I continue to see the impact a word of thanks, thinking of you or simply thank you for being you is a wonderful way to make someone's day. Don't you love it when you receive a note when someone remembered you?
From time to time, I think about my Family Members, Friends and Business Associate that have made a difference in my life. Sometimes it is those little things that really make a difference in your relationships. I think it is like oil that keeps the wheels moving when you share your "Atitude of Gratitude." Take time to thank others for what they do or have done for you.
Here are Three Tips to Express Thanks:
1. Carve out five to ten minutes to send a note of thanks to someone that did something great for you in an email.
2. Purchase a pack of blank notecards that you keep in your purse, briefcase or office. Use the time to write a quick note to someone between calls, doctor visits, waiting to pick up your kids after school or between lessons.
3. Write a hand written sticky note and place it inside your child's lunch or backpack for your kids. You could also leave one for your spouse on the bathroom mirror or on the refrigerataor. Tell them why they are special. My husband has given me several sticky notes. I keep them posted on my bulleting board. When I am having a challenging day, I will go over and read them and it is enough to give me a boost to keep going!
Try it and see what in the next 30 days and see what happens. You will be glad you did!!
Yes Irene it is very important to say thank you. Sometimes it can go a long way.
