I had this sent to me by someone that works with the City of Dothan, but I feel certain it is available on the Internet somewhere. This is the preliminary concept rendering for the Country Crossing development. Click on the graphic for a full view.
The target date for opening when the project was announced was July, 2009. To my knowledge, the sale of the land has not closed yet. That date might be a little too ambitious, all things considered.
On another note somewhat related to this project, The Chipley Bugle is reporting that a meeting will take place in a couple of weeks regarding a transportation project to build a toll road from the new airport in Bay County, Florida north to Montgomery, Alabama. This project would go through Houston, Geneva, and Dale counties and replace the proposed the I-10 connector. Hat tip to Rickey Stokes
