My Business Plan is Looking Good!

I started out the beginning of the year with clear cut goals and the steps to get them. Almost a year ago I took Listing Expert Academy and SEO to the Top Courses from Katerina Gasset to cover the social media part of my Brokerage. Then I taught and had my Concierge Mandi listen in on one or two classes because she needed to know those specific topics. Here is what my goals were for the year 2016:

I Have Land to Builder Post Cards Monthly

Two weeks of intense pre listing marketing on every new listing

Ongoing intense marketing on every listing

Popby creation monthly

Transaction Management

Create Websites with EDM

Study for Real Estate Instructors License

Find suitable location for Real Estate School

Building Website to attract future students

Write content for all my websites on consistent basis

Install and Remove Sign Posts on Listings

Install and Remove Lockboxes on Listings

Install and Remove Signs on building Lots

Backup Agent schedules-whatever they need

Design new marketing pieces when needed

All accounting and payroll duties

Maintain sign posts condition

Order signs when needed

 

First Detour I ran into was welcoming a new, as in, just out of school Real Estate Agent Mike T Parson. To be fair, Mike is a past client and has always been in love with Real Estate. He jumped in with both feet, more than full time and he listened to everything I said and actually did about 80% of what I asked of him. His career took off on a high note, he acquired lots of listings and buyers right away. He and I attended every meeting and showing for just about 6 months of live training.  He wore me out!

 

 

In late March I lost my Concierge Mandi. All the marketing and Internet fell back on me and that derailed my personal goals. 

 

 

I am back on schedule and studying for the Instructor Test, I found a location to hold our classes and should have all of that in place in October and will begin classes in January of 2017.

Hello Evelyn Johnston .  Loosing such a key player that almost seemed a hub to most activities had to be devastating to your overall plan.  Good job on getting back on track.  And goodness how did you have time to find time to move forward with Real Estate licensing school?  I also have had my curiosity peaked..what is 'popby creation' monthly?  Thank you for your entry.  Mark

A popby is something you leave with your clients and past clients. LOL, it is an excuse to go see them! Let me see if I can upload a photo of one! This was for Valentines Day this year.
