The Evanston Real Estate market is hot, people are out buying and selling and things are not letting up. We are getting calls from people interested in buying houses and 
condos and still considering a sale. I have had the request for a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) multiple times in the last couple of weeks. I feel that they people will be successful in selling even into August and September. Last year we were closing property sales at the year's end. The prices are going up and Evanston Il is becoming more and more popular.
People are asking me what is the most popular real estate at this time. The answer is condos in or near downtown Evanston. People want to live a life that is more care free and involves less driving. Many of the condominiums in downtown Evanston have great attached garages and it is easy to walk to everything. Evanston has public transportation via the "EL" and it's Purple Line there are multiple stops throughout town and it is easy to use and inexpensive. You can get a pass for a couple of bucks and if you get back on the train within 3 hours you do not have to pay again. Also offered is the Metra train. This is part of the Union Pacific line and a very comfortable ride. You can get to downtown Chicago and many points in between in about 25 minutes.
People in Evanston IL love the beaches and lake front parks. Evanston has 6 beaches including a dog beach and a boat launch. Along with the beaches are many great parks and people walk, jog, bike ride and Rollerblade. I go rollerblading all through the beaches and Northwestern University campus and back home and get in a seven mile run. I listen to music and look forward to going as often as I can.
