It is a sick, sick world

Last week I opened my morning paper and in the police report, there was a story about a man who had been arrested for exposing himself to a woman and her 3 year old child in a park three blocks from my house. It was shortly after noon. This park is located behind an elementary school. In fact it is the playground for the school.

And this is the school my 7 year old son goes to! Even if my child did not go there, I would be concerned. What was that man thinking. I just don't get people who do sick stuff like this. All I can think is that someone must have done something to them when they were little. And what might have happened to that child if his mother had not been there?

It is a sick world, with crazy people all around us. My childs school had a young man on a bike exposing himself to young girls, luckily it was not my daughter but it was someone elses daughter. We should start a Mothers Against Sick People Program, like MADD.

Ann, I'm sorry that this incident happened near an elementary school. I must agree with you, it's horrible and sad that humans have nothing better to do.

Sharon, as a matter of fact they did catch and arrest him that day.

It is sick that things like this happen.  Unfortunately, no neighborhood seems to be immune.  Luckily, he was caught!  There is the benefit of living in certain areas, where the police are more readily available.

That is such a sad story.  We hope they lock that man up for a long time and get him mental help!
