Listings Made Easy! This is AWESOME!

Do you want a way to secure more listings?  Do this:  print 500-1,000 of your cards every time you take a new listing.  Why, you ask?  Flip the card over and you'll see why.  On the back of your card, you will find a glorious picture of your new listing with it's address as a .com printed right on top of the picture.

You simply create a website for your new listing (I'll teach you how in just a moment), and advertise it on the back of your card.  Have these cards handy at every open house, leave them behind every time you show property, send them to prospects, give a stack to the sellers, leave a stack at the house.  The other Sellers will wonder why their agent is not promoting their home as aggressively as you are promoting your listings.   Prospective Sellers will also take note.  These cards will be saved and when the time to sell rolls along, guess who'll get the call:  YOU!

For under $ 15 you can have 1,000 of these cards printed at GotPrint.com.  You can also check out VistaPrint.com for some decent prices.

Create a one property Website.  Just go to RealBird.com, and create an awesome flyer.  Buy the .com for your listing's address and connect it to the flyer (see my example of it at http://www.609fifthavesouth.com/).  You now have a one listing Website for under $ 15.  When you sell the home you can gift the website to the new owners.  They can now direct all their friends and relatives to the website to show off their new home.  All their friends and relatives will now have your mug shot, your address, phone numbers and link to your website and your blog.  Guess who they'll call when they need to buy or sell Real Estate?

By the way, give a generous amount of those business cards/listing presentation cards to the new owners, so they can send them to friends and relatives.  They will be happy to send them to all their friends and relatives, to show off their new home and they will inadvertently be promoting YOU!  Is this pure genius, or what?

We all know that one of the best ways to garner new listings are the "Just Sold" cards you send to the neighbors after the sale.  The "Just Listed" cards with nothing but the picture of the new listing and the .com for that listing will work wonders too.  VistaPrint and GotPrint.com are good avenues for those also.

I hope you make lots and lots of money using these tips!  Have fun!  Live Big!  Join The Optimist Group!

This is a good idea. I have never done the listings on the back of business cards. How do you handle if you have 20-30 listings?

Tanya:  I have 50+ listings.  I do it for my "special properties".  I also have .com's and .info's with the subdivisions and condo projects where I usually have listings, and I rotate the listings into that website address.  The interior pictures may change, but the main picture of the condo project and the .com address stay the same.  I hope this helps!

How Innovative!  I love it.  Advertising yourself to your past, present and future clientele...as my momma would say "Dumb like a fox!"  and we all know that fox ain't dumb!

Great idea..printing the domain name on the back of the card.  Great way to get the word out.  There is another website doing higher end business cards with propety info - but you pay more.  Check out www.homecardsonline.com

Bo, thank you for that info!  Higher end?  I'll check it out.  Vista Print does a fantastic job; it's going to be difficult to find any better, but anything is possible...

I think that this is a great idea. If you would like to create a website for your property for absolutely free go to www.lakecitymtg.net. About half way down the page their is a widget box that says "Realtor Signup"; just click on the sign up button. After you've signed up you can come back to the site and login in using the box under the signup box and ad new websites and take old ones down. The sites are very customizable and the software is very user friendly. The sites only come with a subdomain which I have found works very well in conjunction with classified ads but you can easily purchase and inexpense domain for around $5 from www.godaddy.com. If you do not want to set it up yourself the company will sell you a domain... think it is a little more expensive though. Anyway, this is just a thought.
