Anyone who follows my blog knows I write about and promote the town I live in, Middletown, CT every week with my Localism blogs. Noah Seidenberg is hosting an ActiveRain contest this month titled "Love Where You Live- An ActiveRain Contest August". There are several reasons why I feel Middletown CT Is A Great Place To Live And Call Home! In order to not make entry into Noah's contest in one lengthy blog, I have decided to submit two blogs even though I know only one will count towards the contest.
In the first blog "Middletown CT Is A Great Place To Live And Call Home! ...... Part 1", I gave Five Reasons Why I Love Living In Middletown, CT. In this second blog Middletown CT Is A Great Place To Live And Call Home! ...... Part 2 I will share a sixth reason for why I love living in Middletown, CT and that is what I get to see every day on my daily walk.
Last month I posted a blog about the wild flowers I see during my daily walk. so I thought I would share some additional pictures of other things I get to see, and experience along my daily walk which makes Middletown, CT a special place to live for me.
As I mentioned in the previous blog of what I get to enjoy each and every day, I try to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps each day, but my goal is to do at least 5 miles per day. It is boring to walk the same route everyday, so I try to mix it up. One of the advantages of walking as much as I do and mixing up the routes, are what I see along the way. My longest route is 4 1/2 to 5 miles long and takes me through some of the more rural streets and farms by my house. So I get to see several farm animals as well as some of natures other creatures. Below are pictures of what I get to see and enjoy on a daily bases.

As you can see from the two blogs I have written for this contest, there are many reasons why I feel Middletown CT Is A Great Place To Live And Call Home and why I love living here.
