Bozo of the month contest- ugly houses!

 

Welcome to another addition of the

Bozo of the month contest!

This month our contest shall be - Ugly homes

 I am sure in your daily travels you have seen some really ugly looking homes. Weather you are a Realtor, Inspector or Stager, we have all seen some truly horrible homes that could only be called ugly! This is the exterior/curb appeal of the home- not the kitchen or living room. This is the first impression as you drive on by.

 Here is your opportunity to earn points just because you have a great sense of humor and a camera with you at the right time! Although there is points involved, I encourage you to enter just for the fun of it! This is a perfect way to show off those photos you have in your shoe box or just sitting in a dusty computer folder!

 

How do you enter the contest you ask?

Simply reply to this blog entry and enter your photo! That's all there is to it. Please keep in mind that the address is not allowed, yet I encourage you to add a funny caption along with your photo!! Points will be given at the end of the month. Deadline for the contest is May 28th so don't delay!!

Sounds like a great contest but I don't think I can get my entry in by April 28.  Did you mean May 28th by chance?

Maureen, I didn't have an "offering" for last month but this month is a little easier for us home inspectors:)  While it is pretty easy to find old abandoned homes that might be deserving of an award I though I would limit myself to pictures of homes that are actually being lived in.  So this picture should be a pretty good entrant unless Steve decides to enter some of his rentals.bad house

Maureen, I have a second entry.  Just because you own the property and CAN get a permit---building in a flood plain might still create resale problems:)  Double-wides are ugly enough without putting it on stilts.double wide on stilts

Now this is one ugly house, and the really funny thing is I bought it!  So when I win, I come back and show you what it looks like today :).  I referred to this "house" when I bought it and was trying to describe it to people as, "well it looks like a big brown turd" oops can I say that?  The other funny thing about my BBT house, is this photo was taken AFTER I cleaned up the year!!!!  You could not even see most of the house!old houseHi my friend Maureen, when I win the contest, let me know :)...come on down to TX sometimes.  Liz
