Foster Care Training

Date/Time

Aug 20, 2016

09:00 AM until 10:00 AM

The Hawaiian Humane Society’s foster care program helps to save thousands of orphaned animals, as well as owned animals in which families are in emergency situations or victims of domestic violence. This program can also help students fulfill service learning hours with their families in their own home.

Volunteers must have transportation for health care appointments and have time to spend with the animals. Short-term and long-term fostering opportunities are available, including fostering animals for space reasons when need demands.

Contact Kristen Koss at kkoss@hawaiianhumane.org or

356-2222 to sign up for training or additional information.

Hi Kimo, if I was to foster, they will most likely remain in my home. This is a great program for all to get involved one way or another in your area.

Aloha Sheila Anderson, it is inexplicable how human beings can be so horrifically cruel to other life forms but the good news is that there are people like you who are wonderfully kind to animals, thanks for your rescue service!

Aloha Beth Atalay, I would have a difficult time not keeping them myself. Mahalo for the visit!

Aloha Harry F. D'Elia, its is a much needed service that the Humane Society provides, we are blessed to have them. Thanks for the comment!
